Storage

Projects that are in progress will require temporary storage in the forms of vertical and horizontal storage and racks. Equipment and tools and media will require secure storage around edges of room or in extended learning areas.

Durable Materials

Use durable materials that are easily cleaned and equip the spaces with controlled lighting setups, including black-out shades and full spectrum lighting.

Multimedia Studio

This acoustically separate but visually supervisable space allows students to explore and create podcasts (audio or visual) and video broadcasts.

Display Space

Provide ample display space for students to showcase their work and progress.

Technology

The learning commons/media center should accommodate technology including projectors at multiple presentation locations, LCD plug-in displays, sound systems for music and large presentations, charging stations, and copier(s) and printer(s).
